“Sir,

You may expect to hear from me so soon as I can upon examining your Performances, find any Thing in them worthy of Notice in Defence of your Client. – Remember this is the third Time I have publickly call’d upon you to refute one single Article of the Charges bro’t by me against your Favorite Verres. – And unless I can find something else – I shall perhaps be tempted to make Remarks on some of the notorious Falshoods which you have published.

Paskalos.”

Commentary: Joseph Warren provides a placeholder in his skirmish with Friends of Government pseudonymous writers Philanthrop and Verres.
